Learning in the 21st century cannot be confined to the parameters of textbooks and exam questions. Young learners need to be holistic in approach and critical in thought. To hone these very creative and critical pursuits, SICAS Liberty Campus regularly hosts distinguished individuals from every walk of life to inspire students. Past guests include noted entrepreneurs, fitness practitioners, innovative educationists, and star bureaucrats.

Education at SICAS is truly beyond-the-classroom. And our 2023-24 keynote speakers are representative of enshrined educational philosophy.

SICAS was honoured to recently host hero cop Shehrbano Naqvi, who courted global fame following her courageous maintenance of public order, for an unforgettable speaker session. Returning to her alma mater, ASP Naqvi shed light on her riveting journey, broke stereotypes and unravelled hard facts.

SICAS prides itself on nurturing model citizens who make a difference, and ASP Naqvi’s extraordinary achievements epitomise the pinnacle of our educational ethos. Her exemplary contribution to public service is a powerful reminder of the impact one can have when it comes to transforming lives and societies.

National Commission on the Rights of Child (NCRC) Punjab Member Mehek Naeem earlier delivered a keynote address in connection with two-fold International Children's Day celebrations. Mehek, a researcher by profession, presented a nuanced analysis of both: the trials and triumphs registered by the movement to secure child rights in Pakistan as she interacted with students after. Fielding an array of tricky questions, from conflict to generational trauma, ever receptive Mehek shared how her work as a child-specific teacher trainer, programme specialist fired her passion as she inspired SICAS students to do the same.

International Recreational Trips

At SICAS, international trips are both educational and exhilarating opportunities for students to broaden their horizons. These trips not only provide educational insights but also help forge unforgettable memories and friendships, ensuring students at SICAS return home with a deeper appreciation of global cultures and enduring bonds.

In 2015, students explored the vibrant cultural tapestry of Thailand, immersing themselves in Bangkok's bustling markets and Chiang Mai's serene temples. Malaysia, in 2016, offered a blend of futuristic cityscapes in Kuala Lumpur and the tranquil beauty of Langkawi's beaches, enriching their understanding of Southeast Asian diversity.

In 2017 and 2018, Singapore and Sri Lanka respectively provided contrasting yet equally enriching experiences: from Sri Lanka's lush tea plantations and historical sites to Singapore's modernity and multicultural charm. Uzbekistan, in 2019, captured the imagination with its ancient Silk Road cities like Samarkand and Bukhara, showcasing stunning Islamic architecture and rich history.

Baku, the seaside capital of Azerbaijan, in 2022, added a new dimension with its modern skyscrapers and old town medieval architecture, offering insights into Eurasian culture and contemporary urban development. 2023 saw students proceed to Egyptian tourist hotspot Sharm El-Sheikh, an atypical resort town popular world over for its sandy beaches, azure waters and rich marine life.
