OUR PROGRAM

The academic program at SICAS Preschool is built on a time-tested, internally developed curriculum that blends local and internationally recognized teaching philosophies. The primary objective of our curriculum is to create an environment that helps each child realize their maximum academic and creative potential.

Our curriculum requires students to engage in core areas such as literacy and numeracy, while also fostering creativity through various thematic programs, including arts and crafts, music, physical education, and, for older grades, foreign language programs. With each passing year, our teaching methodologies evolve to incorporate more technology, integrating computers and smart boards into day-to-day classroom activities.

TODDLERS

(Ages 2.6 – 3.0 years)

Two-year-olds are fantastic learners, full of energy and curiosity, and their rapidly developing cognitive abilities make them highly receptive to learning at a young age. Our Toddlers program is carefully designed to help our youngest students adapt to a formal learning environment and enjoy their first educational experiences.

The program focuses on language development, allowing children to express their ideas through words and sentences. All classroom activities are designed to help children get accustomed to basic classwork while also fostering interaction with their peers in a fun, creative environment. Additionally, we believe in the power of e-learning, so toddlers are introduced to computers under the supervision of trained IT specialists right from the start.

PROGRAM FEATURES

  • A balanced mix of nurturing, playtime, and learning throughout the day
  • Bi-weekly thematic units with a variety of daily activities and experiences

PLAY GROUP

(Ages 3.0 – 4.0 years)

In the Playgroup stage, toddlers transition to more advanced learning experiences. As they continue to improve their language skills, they also learn more complex games and refine their motor skills. The Playgroup program introduces basic language, math, science, and social skills in a holistic manner, encouraging gradual learning at each step.

NURSERY

(Ages 4.0 – 5.0 years)

The Nursery stage marks the beginning of more structured learning. The school day is divided into theme-related activities in learning centers, along with focused literacy and numeracy experiences.

Children are introduced to structured writing, using age-appropriate writing activities and tools. These activities gradually help children form letters and numbers as they begin developing writing practices.
