Boys and girls are admitted to SICAS from 2 years old up to the age of 18 years. The school year starts from August but admissions are open throughout the year if places are available. Applicants have to successfully pass three stages i) registration, ii) placement tests and interview, and iii) admission decision and documentation.
The admissions criterion at SICAS, as at many of its peer institutions, is a ‘holistic’ one, taking into careful consideration a variety of aspects of a student. We do not rely on testing and grades alone, instead look at all facets of the applicant to help inform our judgment. All prospective parents are advised to meet in person with the school’s Admission Officer who can answer all admission related queries and advise them on the various stages of the admission procedure.
The registration form is available from the admission office. It should be filled up and returned to the office along with registration fee.
SICAS is an academically selective school and all children who are considered for a place have to undergo a formal assessment. The intention is to evaluate a child’s potential for future success. We don’t assess for just academic knowledge but also in behavior, attitude and character. All assessments are age appropriate.
